 In the interest of a fair investigation and legal action in a case filed at the capital's Adabor Police Station, Sub-Inspector Rakibul Islam of Adabor Police Station has sent this letter to the Special Police Superintendent (Immigration) and Special Police Superintendent (Land and Sea Port) of the Special Branch of the Police through the Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Tejgaon Division).

The letter, mentioning their detailed personal information including passport numbers, said that the accused in the case filed at Adabor Police Station are Kibria Golam Mohammad (Awami League leader and financier) and Md. Shah Jamal Hawlader was directly and indirectly involved in suppressing the quota movement. If the accused goes abroad, there is every possibility of hindering the investigation of the case. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to take measures so that the accused cannot go abroad in the interest of a fair investigation of the case. Chairman of NRB Islamic Life Insurance, Kibria Golam Mohammad alias GM Kibria, is a close friend of the fallen dictator Sheikh Hasina. Currently, he is the organizing secretary of the banned All European Awami League and the convener of the conference preparation committee of the Italian Awami League. Another friend of Kibria's wife, the women's affairs secretary of the All European Awami League, Hosne Ara Begum. He has looted a huge amount of money by making her the company's overseas agency director on paper and smuggling it in the name of the commission. After getting the license, the fascist financier Golam Kibria used to withdraw money from NRB Islamic Life in various ways. Due to which, within three years of its establishment, the company has come to the brink of a ditch due to various irregularities. The deposits of insurance customers are at risk. The investigation by the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) has also revealed various irregularities, corruption and embezzlement of money in the company.
