Kishoreganj Jamaat organises Workers' Conference
A Z Al Muzahid, Kishoreganj
The Workers’ Conference-2025 of the Kishoreganj district branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held on Saturday at 9 AM, at Old Stadium in Kishoreganj district.
Presided over by Kishoreganj district Jamaat Amir Prof Ramzan Ali, the chief guest was former MP and central Naib-e-Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Prof Mujibur Rahman
The chief guest said, “For the past 17 years, we have been living in an era of ignorance. What has the previous Awami League government not done—murder, oppression, injustice? They have engaged in corruption, siphoned off money, committed secret killings, and hanged innocent people by framing them with false charges. Therefore, we have three demands from the interim government: justice, reform, and then national elections.
Who is looting the country? Jamaat-e-Islami is not involved in any looting or occupation. For this reason, we want to run the country by adhering to Allah’s laws. InshaAllah, Jamaat will continue to work towards establishing Islamic governance in the country.”
Special guests who spoke at the Workers’ Conference included Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand, member of Jamaat’s central executive council and publicity secretary; Dr. Maulana Md. Shamiul Haq Faruqi, central organizational secretary and director of the Mymensingh region; and Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, former president of the central Chhatra Shibir and secretary of Dhaka South City.
