Gias Quader Chowdhury says : Initiatives should be taken to reform Constitution by giving space to religious values

BNP Central Vice Chairman Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury demanded amendment to the Constitution by giving space to religious values, democracy and nationalists, he said if a constitution is made by religious values, will there be any injustice, will there be a crime?

By religious values, he refers to Islamic values, religious values of Hindus, Buddhists and Christians. He also said, 'Our state will protect these values. Hopefully, everyone will agree on reforming the constitution by giving space to religious values. No person in this country will ignore or despise religious values.

The main pillars must be fixed and the interim government must ensure democratic processes. He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the Iftar Mahfil organized by the Upazila and Municipal BNP at Raozan College Grounds on Saturday.

With Upazila BNP Joint Convener Nurul Huda in the chair and moderated by Municipality BNP General Secretary Syed Manjarul Haque and District Jubo Dal Vice President Saber Sultan, the event was attended by District BNP member Abu Jafar Chowdhury, Education Affairs Secretary Mohammad Habib Ullah Master, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Firoz Ahmed, Raozan Upazila BNP former Vice President Tipu Chairman, Joint Secretary Musleh Uddin, Raozan Upazila Jamaat Ameer Shahajan Monju, Jamaat-e-Islam leader Md. Belal Uddin, Raozan Municipality BNP Joint Secretary Anisuzzaman Sohel, Mohiuddin Jibon, Jubo Dal leaders Mozammel Haque, Haji Jasim Uddin, Masud Alam, Jane Alam, Yusup Talukder, Shahjahan Shahil, Shahajan Mirza, Chhatra Dal leader Liton Mahajan, Rewaz Arif, among others.
