The expansion work of Gaibandha Press Club building has begun. Gaibandha Deputy Commissioner Chowdhury Moazzem Ahmad inaugurated the construction of the club’s second floor on Thursday morning at Press Club premises located in the Kachari Bazar area of the town.
District BNP General Secretary Mahamudun Nabi Titul was present.
Later, speaking at a discussion meeting held at Club auditorium, Deputy Commissioner said, the role of the press club is very important in the development of the district. He noted that Gaibandha Press Club has been fulfilling its responsibilities with dedication for the past 65 years.
Among others, Gaibandha Press Club President Amitava Dash Himun, General Secretary Idrisuzzaman Mona, and other leaders were present.
