Embezzlement of lakhs taka from revenue dev projects at Kadirpur UP in Begumganj alleged

An allegation has surfaced of embezzling Tk 2.23 million allocated under revenue development projects in the 16 No. Kadirpur Union Parishad of Begumganj, Noakhali, without executing the actual work. The projects in question are listed below:
Construction of guide wall at the pond bank of Habibullah Bepari's house — Tk 150,000
Construction of guide wall at the pond bank of the old cemetery at Abdul Bepari’s house — Tk 150,000
Soling work of the remaining portion of Aminullah Road from the northern part — Tk 160,000
Soling from Chaparashi Bari Road to Constable Bari Road — Tk 125,000
Soling of road from Member Hatim’s house in Ward No. 5 to Nuru Mia’s house — Tk 125,000
A total of Tk 2.23 million has reportedly been looted. The local residents are earnestly appealing to the interim government to take strict action against these corrupt individuals and looters.
