Conspiracy to close Nilphamari Medical College protested, demand permanent campus

General public and students of the medical college protested the conspiracy to close down or relocate the government medical college in Nilphamari.
On Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm, a protest rally and human chain program was held at Chowrangi intersection in Nilphamari town with the participation of a large number of people under the banner of people from all walks of life and students. At that time students protested by burning tires on the main road of the town.
Speakers in the protest rally said, people of this district will not accept any kind of conspiracy regarding Nilphamari Medical College. This is a long-felt dream of the people of Nilphamari, and any attempt to stop it or shift it to another district will trigger a stern movement. A permanent campus and a full-fledged hospital should be constructed immediately.
Earlier, on March 6, a memorandum was issued to the Chief Advisor through the Deputy Commissioner after the human chain and protest rally at Chowrangi intersection on the same demand.
