Cadet ASI recruitment will be done on merit, transparency : Dhaka SP

A briefing session regarding the recruitment process of Cadet Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI-Unarmed) (Male/Female) for April-2026 was held at the Police Lines in Millbarrack, Dhaka, at 11:00 am on Saturday.
Presiding over the briefing, Dhaka District Superintendent of Police (SP) Shamima Parveen categorically stated that the entire recruitment process would be completed based strictly on 100 percent transparency, qualification, and merit. She emphasized that no form of irregularity or corruption would be tolerated under any circumstances during the drive.
The SP issued a stern warning against any malpractices, stating that strict legal action would be taken against any individual or quarter attempting to disrupt the recruitment activities or seek unfair advantages through dishonest means. Furthermore, she directed all officers and employees involved in the recruitment process to discharge their assigned responsibilities with the utmost professionalism, honesty, and dedication.
The briefing session was moderated by Arafatul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Finance and Admin), Dhaka.
Members of the recruitment board, senior officials of Dhaka District, and other officers and staff associated with the recruitment activities were also present at the event.
