The third meeting of the Quality Assurance Committee was held at Syndicate Room at the initiative of IQAC Office of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET).

The meeting was held Monday and it was was presided over by Vice-Chancellor of BAUET and President of QAC, Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman.

The minutes of the second meeting of the Quality Assurance Committee were presented and approved in the meeting. Besides, among the matters discussed and decided upon are: Review of BAETE Report of CE, CSE, EEE and ICE, Adoption of Master Plan of Preparation for BAETE and BAC Accreditation, Progress Review of Implementation of Outcome Based Education, Uniform Assessment System & value distribution, taking necessary steps for creation of Alumni database, deciding on various steps to review and accelerate activities of other clubs including Career & Placement Center, class evaluation through Quality Assurance Committee etc.

In his welcome speech, Honorable Vice-Chancellor and President of QAC, Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman, said that as an advisory forum of IQAC, QAC monitors and evaluates the overall quality of the university as well as provides necessary guidance and advice in adopting and implementing the necessary procedures. He urged all to conduct the activities as per the parameters prescribed by UGC, BAETE and BAC.

The meeting was chaired by Md. Hamidur Rahman, Member Secretary of Quality Assurance Committee, Additional Director of IQAC and Associate Professor of English Department.

Among others present in the meeting were University Registrar Lt. Col. Sheikh Sunny Mohammad Talha (Retd.), Dean of Faculty of Science and Humanities and Head Department of Physics Professor Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Law and Head, Department of Law and Justice Professor Dr. Md Shahidul Islam, Dean, Faculty of ECE, Head Department of CSE and Director of IQAC Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuaya.
