'Research Presentation Day' celebrated at DU Bose Center

Dhaka University Bose Center for Advanced Study and Research in Natural Sciences celebrated 'Research Presentation Day' on Tuesday,.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam was present as the chief guest at the event.
Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof Dr. Md. Mofazzal Hossain, Emeritus Professor of the Department of Physics, Dr. A. F. M. Yusuf Haider, Chairman of the Department of Physics, Prof Dr. Md. Aminul Islam Talukder, Director of the Bose Center for Advanced Study and Research in Natural Sciences, Prof Dr. Sabina Hossain, and Chairman of the Department of Theoretical Physics, Dr. Md. Tanjib Atiq Khan, spoke at the event.
Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam stressed on quality research to move the country forward and said, "We have to conduct our research activities keeping in mind the social needs."
At the event, 18 research fellows were awarded research grants worth Tk 3.6 million.
