Youth murdered in Munshiganj : Assailants announce him as a robber thru' mosque loudspeaker, left shotgun on his body

Police recovered the body of a youth along with a shotgun from the Makhati area of Munshiganj Sadar Upazila. Around 2 AM on early Friday.
The body was found on the road at Makhati Taltola in the upazila. The deceased, Sana Majhi (42), was the son of the late Mohammad Majhi from Makhati village in Sadar Upazila.According to sources, on Thursday around 3 PM, Sana was called from his current residence in Dagrpara area by a familiar youth named Swadhin. After that, he went missing. Around 9 PM, a false announcement was made through the mosque loudspeaker claiming that a robbery was taking place at the house of Babu Majhi in Makhati village. Locals gathered in response and allegedly beat Sana to death, then left his body on the Makhati Talgachtola road. A single-barrel shotgun and two rounds of ammunition were tied to his body.Locals say there had been a long-standing feud between the family of the deceased Sana Majhi and the family of Babu Majhi of Makhati Majhibari.Upon receiving the news, police recovered the body and took it to Munshiganj General Hospital, where the duty doctor declared him dead.OC of Munshiganj Sadar Police Station, Saiful Alam said , due to a prior feud, Swadhin — known to the deceased — lured him from his home around 3 PM on Thursday. Between 9 to 10 PM, he was murdered and falsely announced as a robber via loudspeaker. The perpetrators are believed to have planted the firearm and ammunition on the body to mislead the public and authorities.
