It is alleged that a young man named Sabuj Sardar escaped from the house of a London expatriate in Sylhet's Shahparan police station area with Tk 10 lakh and an expensive car.

After contacting the Daily Tribunal newspaper and sending a photo of the impostor Sabuj to confirm whether he is a journalist or not, GM (Admin) Imran said that we do not have any representative by the name of Sabuj Sardar. The victim expatriates demanded that an arrest warrant is issued against the fraudster Sabuj Sardar and he is quickly arrested otherwise the victim expatriates fear that the fraudster Sabuj will go abroad.
