A young man named Arman (22) was called from his house and brutally murdered in Juri Upazila. The deceased is the son of Suman Ahmed, a resident of Garergaon village in Jaifarnagar union of Arman upazila. The incident took place in Gorergaon village late on Saturday night. In this incident, Rafiq Mia (42), son of Taimuch Ali of the same village, was seriously injured in Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.

Under treatment Arman’s dead body has been sent to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy on June 23. After receiving the news of the murder, Juri Thana Police conducted a raid at night and arrested 4 people. The arrested are Yaz Mia (50), son of deceased Chan Mia, his two sons Tanveer Ahmed (25) and Tuhin Ahmed (16) and Taj Uddin (55), son of deceased Cherag Ali, of the same village. It is reported that due to a dispute over the money owed, Garergaon late on Saturday night.

Tanveer attacked village Rafiq Mia. At that time, he called Armaan from the house and stabbed him several times in the chest. Armaan died on the spot due to the stabbing. Later the locals rescued them and took them to the Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared Arman dead. Rafiq Miyake Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College seriously injured in this incident.

Sent to hospital after the incident, the police conducted a raid and arrested 4 people.

Going to Arman's house in Sarzamin, it is seen that mourning is going on in the whole house. Armaan's mother and grandmother were fainting again and again. At that time, Arman's mother said in a tearful voice, "My son was called from the house and killed in the blink of an eye; I want the killers to be hanged."

Humayun Kabir, Inspector (Investigation) of Juri Police Station said, "We went to the spot after learning about the murder late at night. Later we made a report and recovered the body. Armaan has stab marks below his throat. Juri police station officer OC SM Main Uddin said that a complaint has been lodged in the police station regarding the murder. 4 people have been arrested in this incident. The body has been sent to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
