US AL demands resignation of Dr Yunus due to failure

The United States Awami League in a protest meeting in New York on Octobar 13 night demanded the resignation of Chief Adviser of the Interim Government Dr Muhammad Yunus due to extreme failure to maintain law and order situation and abnormal price-hike of essential commodities.
Speaking at the demonstration held at Diversity Plaza in Jackson Heights, New York City, President of the organization Dr Siddiqur Rahman said that the people of Bangladesh are in troubles. The law and order situation has deteriorated drastically. The miscreants are carrying out killings and looting. No one can say a word about the protest against these wrongdoings but Dr Yunus have seized the power in an unconstitutional manner on the promise of a non-discrimination society.
Hindal Qadir Bappa, Sharif Kamrul Hira, Abdul Hamid, Shahanara Rahman, Mumtaz Shahnaz, Imdad Chowdhury, Shaheen Ajmal, Sheikh Jamal, Darud Mia Ronel, Farooq Ahmed, Iqbal Hossain, Mahmudul Hasan, Zahid Hossain and others were among the leaders in this protest.
The speakers of the protest, shaking with slogans such as 'Sheikh Hasina's government is needed at this moment', 'Sheikh Hasina's government is needed again and again', pointed out that the appalling situation of arrest and torture of Awami League leaders and workers is going on in Bangladesh.
Those who staying abroad are also being charged with murder, the speakers alleged.
