A day-long teacher training workshop titled “Teaching-Learning in Outcome Based Education” was organized by IQAC of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) campus on Saturday last. University Vice Chancellor Brigadier General Md Mizanuzzaman was present as the chief guest.

The chief guest said, “Our syllabus has been revised following the latest BNQF and BAC recommended guidelines. We want to ensure the quality of education through IQAC.” He thanked all concerned for organizing this workshop.

Colonel Md. Shawkat Hossain, psc (Retd.), Registrar Lt. Col. Sheikh Sunny Mohammad Talha (Retd.), Dean of Science and Humanities Faculty and Head Department of Physics Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean of Law Faculty and Head, Dept of Law and Justice Professor Dr. Md Shahidul Islam, Dean of ECE Faculty and Head, Department of CSE Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuyan, Heads of Departments, Proctors, Student Welfare Adviser, Deputy Registrar (Academic), faculty members and officials were present.

The resource person of the teacher training workshop was Professor Dr. Farheen Hassan, Faculty of Business Administration, Director, IQAC of American International University Bangladesh. Course Learning Outcomes, Program Learning Mapping, Developing Outcome Based Questionnaires, CO,PO,CLO, CQI Process, Evaluation Rubrics, Domains of BNQF are taught hands-on. At the end of the program, the chief guest awarded the crest to the resource person of the training workshop.

In addition, in the morning IQAC Additional Director and Associate Professor of English Department Md. Hamidur Rahman conducted the welcome speech at the beginning of the program, IQAC Director Dean of ECE Faculty and Professor of CSE Department Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhunya. Note that 50 teachers from Science and Humanities Faculty, Law Faculty, Business Faculty and ECE Faculty participated in the workshop.
