In a robbery of Hindu house in Narail, DB identified NSI member and Kalia Police Police arrested 4 people including NSI members during a robbery in Kalia Upazila of Narail.

On Friday at around 8 pm, the police arrested them from the house of Samarendra Nath Biswas, son of Manoranjan Biswas, in Kharia Charpara, Kalia Upazila.

On Saturday , the victim Samendranath Biswas filed a case in this incident, and the police sent the four arrested to the court in the afternoon. That night, Kalia Police Station OC Md. Rashidul Islam confirmed the truth of the incident.

The arrested accused are Md. Yasin Hossain (27), son of Saiful Alam, a field officer of the intelligence agency NSI Narail and a resident of Kanchanpur Madhyapara village in Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila, Md. Yasin Hossain (27), son of the late Kazi Anisur Rahman, a resident of Bhavakhali Madhyapara village in Narail Sadar Upazila, Arifuzzaman (22), son of the late Kazi Anisur Rahman, a resident of Bhavakhali Madhyapara village in Narail Sadar Upazila, Sohag Molya (36), son of Hemayet Molya (36), a resident of Subudidanga village, and Shahriar Zaman Shashi (35), son of the late Moniruzzaman of the same upazila.

According to the police and the case report, at around 8 pm on Friday, NSI Field Officer Yasin Hossain, working in Narail as a DB police officer, and his companions went to Samarendra Nath's house, claiming that there was illegal goods in the house.

During this time, they robbed the cash and gold ornaments in the house. Later, when people around the house became suspicious, the police informed the Perli police camp and arrested them.

At that time, a total of 2 bhori 2 annas 2 rati gold, including 2 gold chains, 1 pair of earrings, 1 pair of earring pulls, were recovered from them. The estimated value of which is 3 lakh taka.

The police also recovered 1 lakh 11 thousand taka in cash from the robbery.

Kalia Police Station OC Md. Rashidul Islam said that the victim Samarendra Nath Biswas filed a case against 4 people in this incident on Saturday morning.

Two people arrested with stolen
motorcycles in Narail.

Narail District Detective Police arrested two thieves named Md. Russell Sheikh (30) and Md. Momin Hossain (24), members of a motorcycle theft gang in Narail recently.

The arrested are Md. Russell Sheikh (30), son of Md. Ukil Sheikh of Kalia police station in Narail district, and Md. Momin Hossain (24), son of Md. Monirul Molya of Parnandayali village in Magura district.

Thieves stole a red and black Pulsar 150 cc motorcycle (with registration number Narail L-11-5732, engine number DHZWGE-91945, chassis number MD 2A11CZ8GWE85316) used by Md. Jihadul Islam (21) from in front of Madrasatu Darun Naeem Hafezia Madrasa in Auria village under Narail Sadar police station and fled. On the instructions of Narail District Superintendent of Police Kazi Ehsanul Kabir, the Narail District Detective Branch Police went into the field to recover the stolen motorcycle and arrest the thief.

In continuation of this, under the supervision of Narail District Detective Branch OC Md. Shahadara Khan (PPM), SI (Retd) Ahidur Rahman, ASI (Retd) Nahid Niaz and ASI (Retd) Tuhin Ali along with a supporting force conducted a drive on Saturday morning and arrested the accused from the north side of Sohan Sardar's house in Purulia village, Purulia Union No. 2, under Kalia Police Station, on the paved road leading from Purulia to Raghunathpur.

The stolen motorcycle (whose registration number is Narail L-11-5732) was recovered from the arrested accused and seized in accordance with the rules and taken into custody. A theft case was registered at Narail Sadar Police Station in this regard.
