Sohana Saba is a talented actress of the country. She has acted in a number of popular films and earned huge acclamation from the audience. The artiste now will be seen in a web film for the first time.

The title of the film is ‘Aditi’. Rakesh Basu has written and directed it. Sohana Saba has played the title role in the web. The shooting of the film has already been completed at different locations in Dhaka and Manikgonj.

About the film, Sohana Saba said, “The story of ‘Aditi’ is based on a true event of our society. The web film revolves around a middle class family and their daughter Aditi’s struggle. The story of the film is to my liking. I’m very satisfied to work with ‘Aditi’. Rakesh Basu has also made the web with utmost care.”

Sohana Saba is a Bangladeshi actress, producer, and screenwriter. She is a trained classical dancer from Bulbul Lalitokola Academy and Chayanaut. Her career started as a dancer and eventually entered into TV commercial and drama.

She debuted in film acting by her role in the film ‘Ayna’ directed by Kabori Sarwar in 2006. Then, she has acted in many notable movies, including ‘Khelaghor’, ‘Priyotomeshu’, ‘Brihonnala’ and ‘Chandragrohon’. She also has acted in few Kolkata movies and gained popularity there. Saba is always focusing on doing something different through her acting hence very selective about her work.

In 2021, she acted on television series Boli directed by Shankha Dashgupta.

On the work front, Sohana Saba starrer movie ‘Ashombhob’ is waiting for its release date. She has also completed the shooting of the film Maniker Laal Kakra directed by Afzal Hossain.
