Sherpur Upazila will be smart one : UNO Sumon Jihadi

The 45th Science Fair has been inaugurated at Sherpur in Bogura on Sunday.
The two-day's event includes science fair, science olympiad, quiz competition, seminar, science fiction movie show etc. Besides, there is Concert for Future on the last day to build up environment awareness. A total of 14 educational institutions have appeared in 14 stalls with their inventions in the science fair.
Additional District Magistrate Md. Mazbaul Karim was present as the chief guest in the opening ceremony.
Sherpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Suman Jihadi welcomed him with a bouquet of flowers. As special guests there were Acting Chairman Sherpur Upazila Parishad Md Shahjamal Siraji, Additional SP (Circle) Sajib Shahrin, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Rezaul Karim, Upazila Awami League President Advocate Golam Farooq, General Secretary Sultan Sultan Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Sherpur police station Md. Rezaul Karim and veteran freedom fighter and former upazila commander Obaidul Haque.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sumon Jihadi said that citizens of Sherpur upazila will be smart. The journey of making the people of Sherpur as smart citizens has started. With everyone's cooperation, this upazila will become a smart upazila.
The event will end with the award ceremony and Concert for Future on January 29 evening.
