Lalan Fakir and his sect are saints of materialistic objects. They do not so much appreciate the unseen meditation outside of matter. But 'Baulera' is not a traveler of darkness. They follow the path of light and spend their whole lives in search of truth, longing to unite with the people of their hearts. The essence of all religions, philosophies, and sciences is the search for truth.

The main goal of 'Baul Sadhana 'is the pursuit of knowing the truth or oneself by holding the truth and conquering all falsehoods. That is why there is no conflict, in Baul philosophy.

These were said by the speakers at a seminar and Preeti Sammilani ooganized by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and managed by Production Department under the tittle ' Influence of Islamic and Sufi Philosophy in Lalan Saiji’s Bani” on Wednesday.

The event was organized at 4.00 pm at the Seminar Hall of the National Theater as part of the 48th Sadhumela on Purnima Tithi.

In the ceremony, the 'Bauls' explained Islam and Sufi philosophy in the words of Lalon Saiji. "The influence of Islamic and Sufi philosophy on Lalan Saiji's speech" was read by Dr. Abu Ishaq. Kiranchandra Roy and Shafi Mondal were the discussants. Lalon Saiji's songs were presented by the bowlers in the seminar.

Lalan Saiji's dehumanization, Sufism and spiritualism were discussed in various speeches in the event.

Liaquat Ali Lucky, Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and prominent Baul and artists and Lalon researchers of the country were present at the event. Later, the Preeti Sammilani was held.
