Seminar on 'Safe Migration and Skill Development' held at Netrakona

A seminar 2024 on 'Safe Migration and Skill Development' was held at Netrakona Technical Training Center at TTC conference hall on Monday afternoon with the motto "Welfare of expatriates, dignity is our commitment, they are equal partners in building smart Bangladesh".
Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Banani Biswas spoke as the chief guest in the seminar under the chairmanship of Engineer Gias Uddin Ahmed, Acting Principal of Netrakona Technical Training Center (TTC). Netrakona District Employment and Manpower Office spoke as a special guest.
Assistant Director Md. Lehaj Uddin. Chief Instructor SM Sadrul Kabir, Instructor Asaduzzaman, Instructor Syed Shakeel Mostafa and others spoke in the seminar.
Chief guest Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Banani Biswas said that expatriates are remittance fighters of the country. They earn money by working hard abroad and send it back home.
The money sent by them keeps the economic wheel of the country moving. He stressed the importance of everyone who wants to go abroad to go abroad in a legal way by following all kinds of rules and regulations, without falling into the clutches of brokers, and acquiring the necessary skills in the subject in which they will go to work abroad.
