The quarterly zonal coordination meeting 2025 of the Society for Development Initiatives (SDI), a non-governmental development organization working for economic and social development, has been held.
The meeting was held on Saturday. at hall room of Well Park Residence in Chittagong city. SDI Founder and Executive Director (CEO) Shamsul Haque was present as the chief guest at the meeting.
SDI Director (Programs) Md. Kamruzzaman, Assistant Director (ME & Training) Md. Ismail Hossain, Director (Development) Md. Ashraf Hossain, and Director (General) Sohelia Naznin Haque, Deputy Director P & D Sheikh Shakib Ahsan were present as special guests at the meeting. The meeting was moderated by Chittagong Zone Zonal Manager Milan Mia.
The meeting was attended by officers and employees of various upazilas and field offices under the SDI Chittagong zone. Discussions were held to review quarterly activities, adopt future plans, and make field-level activities more dynamic.
Chief guest Shamsul Haque said in his speech, “SDI is always working for the welfare of the people. The dedication and sincerity of every member at the field level is taking our development activities forward on the path of success.”
He also said that Sandwip is a specialized region for the loan project because I think there is a lot to learn for all the workers as a motivational region. On the other hand, the people there use the loans properly and repay them. For this, Sandwip is recognized as the best region in the whole of Bangladesh.
Among others, all the regional managers, branch managers and heads of development projects of the Chittagong region were present.
The participants in this day-long coordination meeting pledged to work together to determine the future work plan and achieve the goals of the organization.
