Sarjis Alam delivers opening speech at NCP’s ‘March for Nation-Building’ rally in Narail

Sarjis Alam, Chief Organizer, Northern Region of the National Citizen Party (NCP), delivered the opening speech at the party’s "March for Nation-Building" rally held at the open stage on Thursday afternoon in Narail.
He expressed deep concern over the poor condition of the roads connecting Magura and Narail, stating, “What we witnessed on our way from Magura to Narail is unacceptable for a connecting road between two districts. After 16 years, what development has actually taken place? We thought we were heading toward Khulna and expected to see signs of progress, but instead, we saw none.”
Referring to Narail town, he added, “Narail is a small, well-structured town, but it hasn’t seen the kind of development we had hoped for. We will call extortionists by their name, we will call land grabbers what they are. We will speak the truth — white as white. We must expose those involved in syndicates to the public. The goal of NCP is to prioritize the interests of the nation and its people above all else.”
Other notable speakers at the event included NCP ConvenerNahid Islam, Chief Organizer, Southern Region, Hasnat Abdullah, Narail’s own and NCP’s Central Youth Committee Joint Secretary Mahamuda Sultana Rimi, and central leader Adv Shirin Akhter Shelly, among other party leaders.
