Sacrifice requires alert to drain the waste of the animal

1446 Zilhaj of the month of 10 Hijri. Eid al -Azha, one of the religious festivals of the Muslims, is going to be celebrated on Saturday, 07 June 2025. Bangladesh is one of the major Muslim countries in the world. About 91 percent of the Muslims live in this country whose main religious festival is Eid. In the meantime of the sacrifice, many cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep are slaughtered. According to the Ministry of Animal Husbandry, the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock has said that this year is 1 crore 24 lakh 47 thousand 337 for sacrifice. They have said that this year, more than 20 lakh 68,000 livestock surplus can be surplus. A large part of these sacrifices will be completed in the Dhaka City Corporation areaA large part of these sacrifices are done in the Dhaka City Corporation area. On this day, devout Muslims offer animal sacrifices according to their ability. But due to lack of proper management and awareness, there is the possibility of severe environmental pollution from the blood and abstraction of the animal. And there is the possibility of spreading various diseases from waste. That is why we all need to look at the overall cleanliness after animal sacrifice. Especially if the waste of the sacrifice is not properly cleaned in densely populated areas, it can have a variety of serious adverse effects as a whole.
About 50 percent of the animals slaughtered throughout the country are slaughtered on the Eid of the sacrifice. The slaughtered animal waste-blood, pulse, cow dung, bone, khur, horn, lack of proper management and public awareness of public health affect public health. If environmentally sacrificing and waste management is done properly, it will be possible to prevent environmental catastrophe on the one hand, and on the other hand, it will be possible to convert the resort of slaughtered animals. We must observe some things in the meat and waste management of the sacrifice.
The waste of the sacrifice of the sacrificial animal spreads around it, spreading the odor around, polluting the environment. Not only that, various types of diseases are spread from waste in drainage or drainage. Excessive waste is also expected to stop the drainage. With a little rain, the drainage water is caused by waterlogging. At that time, the City Corporation or the Municipality also frosts to remove these wastes.
Many times we leave the body of the animal of the sacrifice where the inaccessible part of the body is left. If the city authorities are not visible, then those parts spread the odor. The urban authorities, however, directed the removal of waste before the Eid of every sacrifice, conducting public awareness campaigns.
Moreover, almost all the media including newspapers, television and television campaigns. Sadly, the truth is, we do not take those things that much. We are facing various problems. However, if the waste of the sacrifice can be brought under proper management, then the environment will be pollution free, public health will be safe.
One way to remove waste is to dig a hole in a field or abandoned area before the sacrifice. After the sacrifice, the waste of the animal is left there. However, in the urban areas, the holes should be taken care of when the water and gas pipes, electricity and telephone wires etc. are not damaged in any way.
One way to take effective initiatives to transform waste into wealth is to sacrifice many animals together in the countryside and to keep the waste under the ground under the ground, which becomes useful in the field as organic fertilizer before the next year. After all the activities of the sacrifice, the blood -stained roads should be washed and cleaned.
Bleaching powder or disinfectant should be used when cleaning the dirty space so that the germs cannot spread. There is a need to create widespread public awareness about the benefits of good waste management and the consequences of mismanagement.
However, in areas where there is no suitable place for digging holes, the waste can be removed in the traditional way. This will reduce the responsibility of the city corporation or municipality. Besides, the waste will not be wasted and it will also work.
Those who live in the city are better to sacrifice in one place without sacrificing in isolated places. It benefits the waste management authority. However, be careful, the place of sacrifice should be opened.
And if the place is near the road, it will be easy to reach the waste removal car. Everyone should be careful not to put the dog or cat around the waste. In areas where city corporation cars cannot be reached, the waste bags or bags of those places should be kept in certain places.
> Some steps can be taken in addition to awareness in removal of waste :-
1, those who sacrifice their home or lawn, must clean the waste at their own charge.
2, without a single sacrifice, the sacrifice can be made at a designated place based on the mahalla. It also makes it easier to remove waste from certain places.
3, after the sacrifice, several families of the same building can be initiated by a society's waste management. For example, people can be fixed for the removal of waste together who will remove the waste immediately after the sacrifice. It does not have much effect on the environment as the removal of waste is faster.
4, the slaughtered animal should be dung and left open in the open dustbin or container. From there, the responsible authority can easily remove the waste.
5, after the sacrifice of the animal slaughter, the blood of the animal should be washed with disinfectant water and sprinkled bleaching. So that mosquitoes do not lay eggs in the odor or frozen water.
6, Wash the blood vessels: At the end of all the activities of the sacrifice where the animal sacrifice, skin drops and meat will be cut; Wash the bloody space there and clean it. Use salmon mixing water while cleaning the dirty space so that the germs cannot spread and sprinkle the bleaching powder. Dry that place well.
7, Leather Management: Sell animal leather as soon as possible to local traders. In addition, arrange to donate to different madrasas, mosques or orphanages.
8, Body Safety: In the current corona situation, some more things should be followed as an additional precaution. Those who are involved in sacrifice, leather exit and meat cutting, must wear gloves in their hands, masks on the face and rubber shoes cleaned with a fingertip on the legs. The whole body with two hands should be washed thoroughly with soap and warm hot water before and at the end of the sacrifice. It is unfair to cough in any case around the animal, skin and open meat. Sacrifice, leather drop and meat cut should not be crowded. Those who do the sacrifice of sacrifice, if possible, must maintain at least three feet of distance between themselves.
Finally, after the sacrifice, our awareness can maintain the environment as healthy. Besides, we should not restrict the word 'sacrifice' only through animal sacrifice. We will also keep an eye on our sacrifice as to be true, beautiful and good.
