Rally discussion held in Baliadangi to celebrate National Girl Child Day

"I am a girl child, I build dreams, I fight with courage, I work for the welfare of the country" - National Girl Child Day was celebrated on Wednesday by the Baliadangi Upazila Administration and the Upazila Women's Affairs Officer's Office in Thakurgaon, keeping this theme in mind.
On this occasion, a colorful rally was held in the Upazila Parishad premises in the morning, followed by a discussion meeting in the Upazila Parishad meeting room.
The meeting was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer(UNO) Mofizur Rahman and was attended by Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Gulzar Hossain, Upazila Social Service Officer Shariful Islam, Upazila Education Officer Atul Chandra, Upazila Ansar VDP Officer Sahera Banu and others.
Journalists from print and electronic media and students were also present. Speakers at the event called for ensuring the rights, safety and opportunities of the girl child.
