Prof. Dilip Barua appointed Kishoreganj Bangabandhu University VC

Professor Dr Dilip Kumar Barua has been appointed as the new Vice-chancellor ( VC) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University, Kishoreganj .
President Md.Shahbuddin, also Chancellor of the University, made the appointed, sources the Ministry of Education.
The matter was informed in a notification signed by Rokhchana Begum.
Professor Dr. Dilip Kumar Barua was previously a professor in the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, University of Dhaka.
Later, Prof Dr. Dilip Kumar Barua was appointed as VC of Kishoreganj Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University for the next 4 years.
After the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government on August 5, the vice-chancellors of various public universities resigned. Since then, the interim government has started the process of appointing vice-chancellors in various universities
