Planting of Boro seedlings through technology in Singra

The planting of early variety Boro paddy seedlings has started through the modern Machine Rice Trans Planter on Thursday.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Khandaker Farid Uddin inaugurated the planting of seedlings at Baluvora-Ningoin Bil in Chalanbil.
Additional Agriculture Officer Mahmudul Hasan, District Agricultural Engineer Officer Mahbubur Rahman, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer of Singra Municipality Block Md. Zahidul Islam, President of Singra Model Press Club SM Raju Ahmed and other Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officers were present at the time.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Khandaker Farid Uddin said that, This is the excellence of technology. Which has brought innovation among the farmers.
With the Cooperation of the Department of Agriculture, the Iri- Boro plantation program has been inaugurated on 150 Bighas of land in Baluvora, Ningoin Bil. The Department of Agriculture is constantly supporting and advising the farmers.
