One arrested with live cannabis plants in Patuakhali

A person named Mizanur Rahman (45) was arrested along with two live cannabis plants during the Patuakhali District Intelligence Branch police operation.
Mata Mosa Jahanara Begum, son of Yakub Ali Talukdar, a resident of Kalatla 1st Lane Jubo Sangsad Road area of Mizanur Rahman Town, was arrested.
According to DB Police, on the basis of tip-off, under the direction of AKM Ajmal Hooda, Officer-in-Charge of District Intelligence Branch of DB Police, SI (Retd)/Sambit Roy, with the help of allied officers and forces conducted a raid on Town Kalikapur Juba Sangsad Road, Kalatla 1st Lane of Municipal Area on May 15.
Two live cannabis plants, each with a height of 3 feet 8 inches and a circumference of 3 feet 06 inches including branches, were arrested in 02 tubs specially made of tin and cement sacks on the south-west corner of the roof of the one-story residential house of Kare Mizanur Rahman (45). is done
In this regard, OC of DB Police, AK, M Ajmal Huda, said that the case against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act is under regular process at the Sadar police station.
