National, International Youth Day celebrated in Louhajong

With the theme “Technology-driven youth power, progress through multi-dimensional partnerships”, National and International Youth Day was celebrated in Louhajong, Munshiganj.
On the occasion, at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the Upazila Youth Development Department organized a discussion meeting and distributed youth loan checks in the Upazila Parishad conference room.
The discussion meeting was presided over by Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Masudul Alam, with UNO Md. Nesar Uddin attending as the chief guest. The event was conducted by Assistant Youth Development Officer Umme Habiba, while the welcome speech was delivered by Youth Development Officer Md. Masudul Alam.
Special guest Dr. Shyamal Chandra Poddar, Upazila Livestock Officer, also spoke at the event. Beneficiaries Sonia Akter and Tanvir Ahmed, who received training and loan checks from the Youth Development Department, shared their experiences.
After the meeting, loan checks worth a total of Tk. 600,000 were distributed among four beneficiaries. Before the start of the discussion, youth representatives recited an oath inspired by the July Uprising.
