The responsibilities of the Executive Committee of Mymensingh District Motor Vehicle Employees Union, Barabazar, Reg. No. 469 were handed over to the Convening Committee at the Motor Vehicle Employees Union office in Barabazar, on Saturday.
The Convening Committee will organize the next new election day, date and election activities.
The current Executive Committee President Md. A. Salam, Executive President Md. Manik Mia, Vice President Azharul Islam (Harun), General Secretary Md. Sanowar Hossain (Chanu), Joint Secretary Md. Ali Hossain, Co-Secretary Md. Kamruzzaman Belal, Organizing Secretary Shri Bikash Ghosh, Publicity Secretary Md. Swapan Mia, Treasurer Md. Sirajul Islam and Office Secretary Md. Nurul Islam, along with other employees of the Employees Union and leaders of various branches of the district's Employees Union were present.
Md. Fazlu Mia was appointed as the convener of the election management committee and the current executive committee presented the income and expenditure accounts of the workers' union for the past year to the 19-member election management committee.
