Mobile Court fines health lab in Madan

A mobile court has fined a healthcare business lab called Tapas Digital Diagnostic Center in Netrokona Madan for operating without the approval of the Health Department.
Sources said that on Wednesday, a young man went to the Tapas Digital Diagnostic Center in the central market of the upazila to get a medical certificate for age determination and gave a fake certificate.The deceived youth complained about the certificate to A K M Rifat Saeed, R M O of Upazila Health Complex.The hospital authorities informed the Upazila Nirbahi Magistrate Bulbul Ahmed about the complaint.
The Upazila Magistrate took cognizance of the matter and conducted a mobile court at the health service center that afternoon and collected the fine.
At that time, two private tutors were fined Rs 3,000 for teaching students in violation of health rules.
