Laila Kaniz Lucky, Raipura Upazila Parishad Chairman of Narsingdi and wife of removed National Board of Revenue (NBR) member Matiur Rahman, said that everyone's life has ups and downs. It came into my life. May also come in your life.

I have not committed any wrongdoing anywhere in Bangladesh including Raipura-Narsingdi. If there is corruption, there is a law. I respect the law. I will be judged through it. I'll take all the judgment heads.

She said these while speaking as the chief guest at the final game of the cricket tournament organized at Bangalinagar ground of Mizarnagar Union of the upazila on Friday afternoon.

She also said, I love the people of Raipura. I have not done anything wrong in Raipura. My hand is witness. I do no wrong in the world. Today I confess to conspiracy. I hope you will be by my side. I promised that we will make Raipura a model Raipura. I can do it if you are by my side.

She prayed to the local residents and said, "If you are by my side, no conspiracy can keep me on my side." You know I am a student of Dhaka University. I was the leader of the popular uprising. Laila Kaniz Lucky joined the politics of Awami League in 2022 after leaving the job of associate professor of government Titumir College. Currently he is Narsingdi District Awami League Relief and Social Welfare Secretary. Raipura upazila parishad chairman freedom fighter Abdus Chadek died of cancer last year. Later, Laila Kaniz Lucky was elected unopposed as the chairman in that vacancy.
