Man held with hemp in Rajbari

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a man along with 14 kilograms of hemp from Goalanda upazila in Rajbari district on Friday night.
The arrested man is Abul Hossain Molla, 52, a resident of Sattar Member Para under Daulatdia union of the upazila.
Rajbari Detective Branch of Police officer-in-charge Md Moniruzzaman said acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in the area and arrested Abul Hossain with the drugs from his house.
The process of filing a case with Golandaghat Police Station against him under Narcotics Control Act is ongoing, the OC added.
