Life Is The Sum Of Time

Life Is The Sum Of Time

Md Jahedul Islam

From the beginning of creation the time is ruling the present modern world in a single way. With the change of civilization the method of determining time has also changed. Along with this the timing device has also changed. Time is life's precious and unique resource that has no substitute. Time is inelastic, time decays, which never accumulates. Time is never replaceable. Time passes very quickly. It waits for no one. Real success lies in the proper use of time. Once time is gone then it never comes back.

The present is every moment passing and becoming the past. Again each moment emerges from the storehouse of the future and becomes the present and is lost forever in the abyss of no return from the present to the past. Since the beginning of creation mankind has been advancing its civilization and history by making friends with time.

Time has not been invented but this time has been invented. Time is a natural phenomenon that has been keenly observed by humans since ancient times. Humans first derived the concept of time from the regular cycle of day and night. It takes about 24 hours for the Earth to complete one full rotation on its axis. The time from sunrise one day to sunrise the next. During this period it is day on the part of the earth facing the sun and night on the opposite side. Ancient people considered this regular change in nature as a standard of the time standard. Later this time has been observed and calculated in various ways.

In ancient times people kept track of time through various natural phenomena. There was a time when people could get an idea of time only by looking at the position of the sun. Later people kept track of time based on the rising and setting of the sun, the full moon and new moon of the moon, the change of seasons, etc. Even the first mechanical clocks made by man were based on the position of the sun in time. It is by the hand of this time that the time watcher i.e. the clock has been discovered through various evolutions.

A clock is an instrument that produces a sound or symbol at a certain time interval. The invention of the clock brought more precision in keeping track of time. Time was measured with a device known as a clock. A clock is basically a device used to measure and indicate time. The clock is one of the most important inventions of the earliest human inventions. Since the beginning of civilization since ancient times then people have felt the importance of time and the need to measure it correctly. It is precisely for this reason that since then various scientists, astrologers and community leaders have all worked together to determine the time accurately.

Ancient Egypt Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome civilizations have been found with many ancient artifacts and documents using dating methods. The sundial was invented in ancient Egypt around 1500 BC. A sundial is considered a simple device that keeps track of time based on the path of sunlight. The invention of the sundial brought many advantages in keeping track of time. On the other hand the water clock was invented in ancient Greece around 500 BC. A water clock is a device that keeps track of time based on the flow of water. The invention of the water clock made time keeping more convenient. Since at the Middle Ages clocks have been invented to accurately measure time. But time counting has started since ancient times. People used to keep track of time through various phenomena of nature.

Various devices for counting time have been invented from ancient times to modern times. The most accurate and simple device among them is the electric clock. Electric clocks were invented in the modern era. An electric clock is a device that keeps track of time based on electrical current. Every person in the world is used to calculating 1 day in 24 hours, 1 hour in 60 minutes and 1 minute in 60 seconds since childhood. This method of counting time dates back to about 1550 BC. At that time the ancient Egyptians were much more advanced in knowledge, science and technology than the rest of the civilizations on earth. Astronomers of that time knew that the earth revolved around the sun. At that time they were the first to discover from the natural concept that first day is then night. After that it becomes day again and then night. Since these natural phenomena are organized in a certain period of time from then on they divide them into many parts and start thinking about counting. At that time there were no instruments for counting. So they used fingers as the standard of counting to count something.

They used to calculate everything with their own hand 10 fingers. The ancient Egyptians divided a day into two parts. For example 12 parts of day and 12 parts of night. These two parts add up to 24 and this is how the concept of 24 hours comes about. While the Egyptians used 12 as the base for counting, on the other hand, other ancient Egyptian civilizations used 10 as the base instead of 12. On the other hand there was another ancient civilization that used 60 as a basis for calculations. which they also used in mathematics and astronomy. According to their concept a full circle is completed in 360 degrees. The adding 60 six times makes 360. On the other hand since the Earth revolves around the Sun if the Earth rotates 1 degree per day then it will take 360 days to complete one revolution around the Sun.

Then which is approximately equal to 365 days. Again 60 is a number that is divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, all numbers. Basically judging by these aspects they divide 12 and every fraction of 12 hours by 60 in all cases of calculation. Since time began to be accurately counted, these principles developed in ancient times prevailed. That is why 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in 1 minute are calculated. The universe is basically everything. Within this universe we have this earth including sun, moon, planets, stars. It contains all space, and all matter and energy that exists in space. Clockwork and even time are included in this universe. We are also belong to this universe. The universe began with according to the theories of "Big Bang" . Along with the formation of the concept of universe with time the concept of space also formed. According to scientific data our universe did not exist 15 billion years ago.

According to the scientific theory a big bang happened just less then one second from almost zero. Through that the 'Big Bang' theory a very hot point with tiny mass expanded up to two billion kilometers. Thus from the time of that 'Big Bang', the universe came and it is constantly expanding with time. Time is like a river. Just as the current of a river flows from the upstream to the down stream the current of time flows from the past through the present to the future. From birth to death we are constantly floating in this one-way stream of time. The current of time is running towards the future at an unstoppable speed. Every day 86 thousand 400 seconds of our lives are passing as a routine. But we are very careless about this.

There is no alternative to using time properly. People without goals waste time. People who have a purpose in life make use of time. A person who does not care about time gets lost in the abyss of time. Time is the most important thing in human life. If we review the lives of successful people in the world you can see that they value time. No force on earth can stop the movement of time. Time never stops. It is always moving at his own pace. Time is never tired so it needs no rest. Time is the most precious thing to all the people of the world. Therefore, proper evaluation of time is essential for every human being. Life is sum of time. Waste of time leads to failure in life.
