Dr. A.H.M. Hamidur Rahman Azad, Central Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member of Parliament, said that through the constitutional recognition of the July Accord, Jamaat is committed to establishing a welfare state based on justice and fairness through free, fair, and acceptable elections, and everyone must unite to win the hearts of voters and establish their rights.
Hamid Azad said, “The stronger the preparations of the responsible individuals, the easier the path to victory will be. From now on, every worker must go door to door to build relationships with the voters.
He further stated, “Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is committed to establishing a welfare state based on justice and fairness. We must courageously move forward in the struggle to protect the voting rights of the people.” He said that care must be taken to ensure that no land grabber or extortionist occupies a place in leadership.
He said these in Monday at the conference of ward and unit leaders of Moheshkhali Municipality held with Municipal President Councillor Motaher Hossain in the chair and was conducted by General Secretary Mohiuddin.
The special guests were District Jamaat's Assistant Secretary Professor Abu Taher Chowdhury, Assistant Secretary and District President of the Labour Welfare Federation Shamsul Alam Bahadur, District Working Council member Md. Zaker Hossain, Master Shamim Iqbal, Amir of the southern Jamaat of Mpheshkhali Upazila.
Principal Syedul Haque Sikdar, Secretary of the Upazila Jamaat Maulana Abdur Rahim, President of the Ulama Division Maulana Kutub Uddin businessman and Jamaat leader Alamgir, Abdul Khalek, Hindu Buddhist Welfare Trustee Babu Porimol Shil and Rajib Dey spoke.
