The leaders of the Sri Sri Janmashtami Udjapan Parishad Bangladesh Central Committee have stood by the family of the girl who was raped in Barguna and Montu Das, who died seeking justice for the rape.

On Thursday afternoon, financial assistance was handed over to the victim's house in Kalibari, Barguna.

BNP Central Executive Committee member Ramesh Dutta, Sri Sri Janmashtami Udjapan Parishad Bangladesh Central Committee representative and National Gita Parishad president Lion RK Das Rupu, International Human Rights Commission Bangladesh Chapter Director Biplob Partha, Chittagong Prison Inspector Ujjwal Baran Biswas, Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Welfare Front Chittagong Metropolitan Branch Joint Convener Sujan Das, Suman Ghosh Badsha, Chittagong Metropolitan Jubo Dal leader Dr. Rajib Biswas, Jubo Dal leader Bablu Debnath, Chittagong Metropolitan Chhatra Dal leader Raju Das, Sukanta Majumdar.

Local leaders present at the time included former Barguna District BNP Organizing Secretary Advocate Rezbul Kabir, former Office Secretary Manjur Morshed, Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Welfare Front Barguna branch convener Milton Goyali, Barguna District Chhatra Dal President Faizul Malek Sajeeb, General Secretary Nurul Islam Roni, Jubo Dal leader Mehrab Hossain Arif.

The leaders said that incidents of child and women abuse and murder are increasing day by day. As a result, a culture of panic and fear is spreading in the society. A teenager was raped on her way home from school in Barguna. The father, Montu Das, was killed for demanding justice for his daughter's rape. Such a brutal murder cannot be accepted in any way. They demanded that those involved in this incident be tried through a speedy trial tribunal.

In addition, they are now living a subhuman life with their three daughters, having lost their only earning member. All the wealthy are called upon to stand by them.
