Human chain protesting nationwide rape in Tarail

Recently, intense protests are going on across the country due to the rape of 8-year-old child Achia in Magura. Akubpur of Tarail Upazila of Kishoreganj held a human chain and protest meeting to bring the rapists under speedy justice and demand maximum punishment.

The human chain and protest meeting was held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. under the leadership of the director of the school, Md. Shariful Islam.
Mr. Shariful Islam said - Recently in Magura 8 year old child Achia was raped, that day not only Achia was raped but my child, my sister, the red and green flag of my independent country was raped.
Not only in Achia, but all the rapes and murders that happened in the whole country should be executed with death penalty. Even if the law is amended if necessary, the maximum punishment should be provided. If not, the state will have to take responsibility for it.
Sergeant Md. Mohiuddin of Bangladesh Army (retd.), he said - what is happening in the country cannot be accepted in any way, if it continues like this, our future generation will fall into darkness. We don't want any other child to end up like Achia. The real culprits should be brought under the law and the maximum penalty should be executed. Alhaj Abu Jahed Bhuna, chairman of Taljanga Union Parishad, prominent doctor Dr. Shakeel Ahmed and other local dignitaries also spoke.
Finally, the human chain and the protest meeting was declared over by thanking everyone including the media workers.
