On the occasion of the United Nations declared road safety week, a human chain program was held to demand the construction of footover bridge and underpass at Mokamtala port on Bogura-Rangpur highway by the initiative of We want safe road Shibganj upazila branch.

This human chain program was celebrated on Bogura-Rangpur highway in front of Union Parishad in Mokamtala at 11 am on Tuesday.

Chairman of Mokamtala Union Parishad and President of Upazila Volunteer League Ahasan Habib Sabuj, General Secretary of Upazila Jatiya Party Erfan Ali, President of Mokamtala Press Club Nurul Amin Talukdar, General Secretary Lecturer Abdul Hannan, Mokamtala Union Jubo League President Ayub Mondal, Joint General Secretary MA Maruf Mondal, Senior Journalist Kanak Dev spoke in the human chain under the chairmanship of Rashidur Rahman Rana, president of Shibganj upazila branch.
