From celebrities to politicians, everyone is being harassed by this deep fake. From Indian actresses, and to Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, have fallen victim to deepfake videos. In May 2018, a deep fake video of former US President Donald Trump went viral on the internet. Women are more victims of this technology. Adult videos are being made with pictures of women's faces and are being circulated online. A situation where you go from hero to underdog in an instant. But it's not you or you don't know anything about that video. Let's know what this deep fake is.

The word is derived from the English Deep and Fake. If you look a little deeper, you will understand that this word can be easily broken. Dip and fake. Deep means deep in any subject and fake means lie or deception etc. That is, the whole thing is a big fraud which is being done on purpose. The term describes both the technology and the resulting fake content and a protmanteau of deep learning and fake. The question is with what help is it being done so easily? This is done with the help of AI or artificial intelligence.

A deep fake is the deliberate spreading of an entirely false story to defame a person. Deep fake is a program created using 'deep learning technology', a type of artificial intelligence. This method involves manipulating audio, video, and images to create content that makes it impossible to tell whether it's real or fake. Deep fake technology, first promoted in 2017, is very real through artificial intelligence; But through massive fake pictures, audio, video, and other forms of fraud. The technology is getting better day by day by applying machine learning and creating perfectly fake videos. So precise that it is difficult to prove that the video was created with the help of artificial intelligence.

Deep fake videos are created one or two ways. They can use an original video sources of the target where the person is made to say do things that he never did or they can swap the person’s face onto a video of another individual also known as the face swap. There is no way to tell with the naked eye that it is fake, But this is a fake video. Because here, starting from the movement of the lips, all the body postures and human shadows are also copied. Various countries have already taken a strict stand on the issue.

Most of the deep fake videos are created through ad hoc (augmented) methods. The program you use to create a deep fake video, after feeding it a picture or video, immediately analyzes it and creates a fake video based on it. Then they propagate. They are doing these abominable things such as degrading socially or belittling someone in the eyes of society.

Those who are doing these things are also very skilled in using technology! But they are using that skill not for good, but for evil. Deep fake technology can create fictitious images, and 'morphed' videos, as well as mimic voices. You don't realize that the voice is not that person. Made using AI! However, the analysis of experts gives some idea on how can we understand if it is a real video or a fake. That is, we can verify whether the person seen in the video is his or not. Although it is very difficult.

For example, in these artificially created videos, the words do not match the person's facial or leg movements evenly or naturally. Because words are not accompanied by physical gestures or movements etc. It will be a little strange. Again, there is no need to believe in sight. You need to understand whether that person can do that thing or not.

In addition, the technology to detect deep fake videos is also available but caution is the best way. Neither you nor I are safe in this age of technological advancement. I can't stay away from technology. As a result, some caution must be taken. If not, there is a possibility of getting into danger at any time.
