Fire breaks out at S Alam’s edible oil factory in Ctg

A fire broke out at an edible oil factory of S Alam Group at Moijjartek in the port city on Friday.
The fire originated at the factory at around 8:50pm, said fire service sources.
Fire Service and Civil Defence Department Chattogram Deputy Director Dinomoni Sharma told the Daily Sun that the fire broke out in the office room of the factory.
Eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to extinguish the blaze, he said.
