Emergency meeting of DU syndicate held

An emergency meeting of the Dhaka University Syndicate was held on Thursday evening at the lounge adjacent to the Vice-Chancellor's office. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan presided over the meeting.
In the light of the recommendation of the Deans Committee, a decision was taken to start the Dhaka University classes (all years except 1st year) from Sunday, September 22, 2024. In the meeting, it was decided to start the 1st year classes of the undergraduate program for the academic year 2023-2024 from Monday.
Besides, the Syndicate meeting was apprised of the proposals already adopted at the Department/Institute/Faculty and Central level, which are in the process of implementation, to improve interpersonal relations between teachers and students and resolve conflicts. Syndicate members fully support it.
