A disaster preparedness drill was held at Assasuni Government Secondary School on Wednesday (October 15), organized by ESDO under the ICRDCV-II Project with support from Muslim Aid UK, Bangladesh Field Office.
The event was chaired by Head Teacher Md. Mazharul Islam, with UNO (In-charge) Faisal Ahmed as chief guest. Officials from ESDO, Muslim Aid, and local representatives were also present.
Speakers emphasized that such drills enhance community readiness and help reduce disaster losses. Over a thousand students, teachers, and local residents actively joined the exercise.
