Leaders and activists of BNP in Faridpur have pledged to remain united and work collectively for whichever candidate receives the party’s sheaf of paddy symbol in the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.
The commitment came during a views exchange meeting organized by Afzal Hossain Khan Palash, senior joint convener of the Faridpur District BNP, at his residence in Habeli Gopalpur on Wednesday night. The meeting discussed the implementation of the party’s 31-point reform plan and preparations for the upcoming election.
Speakers said that unity among BNP supporters is essential to ensure victory in the Faridpur-3 (Sadar) constituency. They described Afzal Hossain Khan Palash as a courageous leader who has played an active role in anti-government movements.
In his speech, Palash said the meeting was intended to determine the party’s next steps before the election. He thanked attendees for their support and recalled his long involvement in local political movements despite facing multiple legal cases. He warned against internal divisions and conspiracies, emphasizing that the party must remain united to achieve success in the next election.
