DC Kamruzzaman inaugurated Typhoid Vaccination Campaign in Gopalganj

Like the rest of the country, the Typhoid Vaccination Campaign-2025 has begun in a festive atmosphere in Gopalganj.
Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate (Joint Secretary) Muhammad Kamruzzaman Komalmati officially inaugurated the campaign by administering typhoid vaccine to students at the Gopalganj District Administration School and College premises on Sunday morning.
District Superintendent of Police Md. Mizanur Rahman, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Abu Sayeed Md. Faruk, District Education Officer Khondaker Ruhul Amin, District Primary Education Officer Md. Jyotsna Khatun, Medical Officer of the Civil Surgeon's Office Dr. Dibakar Biswas, Assistant Commissioner Md. Ataur Rahman, S.S. Amirul Mostafa, and the principal of Gopalganj District Administration School and College and other teachers were present.
According to the District Civil Surgeon's Office, around 3.5 lakh children and adolescents will be given free typhoid vaccination through various educational institutions and designated vaccination centers in Gopalganj district.
It is mentioned that, with the aim of successfully completing the vaccination program, two opinion exchange meetings were held on October 8 at the Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner's office and on October 9 at the conference room of the District Civil Surgeon's office with the participation of media personnel and concerned officials.
Speakers called for increasing public awareness about typhoid prevention and for everyone to participate in vaccination programs.
