Cub Scout Badge Course held in Rangpur

The ending ceremony of the three-day Cub Scout badge course in Rangpur was held at the district scout building on Saturday.

At this time, district scout secretary Abdur Rahim gave the certificates to the participants. This badge course was organized by Rangpur District Scout to improve the skills of Cub Scout and Girl Scout members and help them achieve the highest award of Cub Scouts 'Shapla Cub Award'.

60 students of third to fifth grade from various primary schools of Rangpur Sadar, Pirgacha and Gangachra upazilas participated as Cub Scout and Girlie Cub Scout member trainees in the Scout Badge Course. Through this Cub Badge Course, Cub Scout members gain proficiency in the theoretical and practical aspects of Cub Scouting.

Rangpur District Cub Scout Leader and Bangladesh Scouts Leader Trainer Shamim Ara Seema performed the duties as course leader. The trainers were Bangladesh Scout Regional Leader Trainer Representative Aleya Khatun, Sadar Upazila Cub Scout Leader Fahmida Afroz (Wood Badger), Sadar Radhakrishnapur Government Primary School Cub Scout Unit Leader Nashrin Akhtar (Wood Badger), Gangachra Upazila Cub Scout Leader Zakul Alam Swapan (Wood Badger). And Akhtarul Islam, Joint Secretary of District Scouts.
