Services for Social and Educational Development (SSED) Foundation, in collaboration with Chitrokarkhana and MEYE, inaugurated community-based learning center: “Amader School” and celebrated Global Handwashing Day 2025 through a vibrant and engaging program recently.

The event was graced by the presence of the Officers-in-Charge of Kamalapur and Mugda Police Stations, social workers, volunteers, children, parents, and local community members.

The program began with the formal inauguration of the Learning Center through a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Following the inauguration, children actively participated in a hands-on handwashing activity, awareness discussions, and a cheerful cultural segment. In their speeches, the distinguished guests emphasized the importance of education, personal hygiene, and developing the habit of regular handwashing.

They also extended heartfelt appreciation to SSED Foundation and its organizing partners, Chitrokarkhana and MEYE, for taking such a compassionate and meaningful initiative. The guests remarked that this type of effort will enlighten underprivileged children through education while boosting their confidence and awareness.

The event was presided over by Ariful Islam, Founder and Executive Director of SSED Foundation.

In his address, he said, Amader School is not merely a learning center; it is a safe, joyful, and participatory space for underprivileged children.

In the concluding session, nutritious food, hygiene kits, and gifts were distributed among the children. The young participants accepted these with joy and enthusiasm.

Among others, Mazharul Islam, President of Eso Sochton Hoi Society; Estiak Prottoy, Founder and Director of Chitrokarkhana; and Ms. Syed Maisha, Founder and Director of MEYE were present.

Members of the Executive Committee of SSED Foundation also attended with their support.
