Cluster admission test for 'B' Unit held at JnU

For the third time in the 22 universities under the cluster, the admission test of the B Unit in the academic year 2022–23 has been completed on Saturday.

The examination was held simultaneously in 19 centers in the country.

A 100-mark exam is conducted in the "B' unit with multiple-choice questions. Students will get 1 point for each correct answer in the test. And for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. 96,434 candidates took part in the admission test against 7,746 seats in the B unit.

Since morning, the students seeking admission have taken up positions in various places around Jagannath University, including the gate. When the gates of the campus were opened at around 10:30 a.m., the students entered the examination hall one by one with the overall cooperation of various organizations of the university.

Student welfare councils of various districts with banners in the names of their respective districts took up tables around Bahadur Shah Park and Jobi Gate for the convenience of the candidates who came from far away.

Ferdous Al Mamun, an examinee who came to the job center, said, "The quality of the question paper was good. Questions are from a short syllabus. We have no complaints about the question.

Another student named Zahid Hasan said, 'Bangla and English questions were very good. But common sense has a little problem. Because questions have been asked here from different places.

The vice-chancellor of Jagannath University, Prof. Dr. Imdadul Haque, said, 'Questions have been made within the short syllabus. We have given the opportunity to everyone who appeared at the center, even a little late, to take the exam. Did not return anyone. I have also given the opportunity to those who appeared in the job center by mistake to take the exam.

He said, "The university administration was always active to avoid any kind of objectionable incident in the examination center, and there is no possibility of question leakage." Since we have taken strict precautions in this regard.

When asked when the exam results would be published, the vice chancellor said, We have a plan to release the result in two to three days.The admissions process will be completed by the month of June, and the classes will start. For that purpose, the results will be published as soon as possible.

It is to be noted that Jagannath University BNCC, Rover Scouts, Rangers Unit, Police, Ansar, and various officers and employees of the university have given all their help to make the examination of the "B' unit successful.
