Child killed by easy bike in N’ganj

In the shock of Easybike, A child named Md. Mostakim (6) was killed in the Digreechar Bazar area of Sadar Upazila of Narayanganj district.
On Wednesday at around 10:30 am, Mostakim was taken to Dhaka Medical College (DMH) hospital in a coma and declared dead by the doctor in charge of the emergency department. Mostakim is the son of Nazmul Islam of Degreecher village in Narayanganj Sadar.
Sonia Akhter, the mother of the deceased child, said, "My baby son Mostakim was going to madrasa in the morning. He was seriously injured when he was hit by a speeding easybike while crossing the road in front of Degreechar Bazar. After getting the news, we rushed him to the hospital and the doctor said that my son is no longer alive.

With Tk 7 crore’s 3 directors escaped from Sonargaon
Three directors of a financial institution named 'Alo Multipurpose Limited' in Sekerhat area of Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district escaped with Tk 7 crores.
They have been on the run for the past month. Customers staged a human chain and protest march in Mohajampur market on Tuesday morning demanding refund of their money. Customers have sought the administration's intervention to get their money back.
Customers Mustafa Mia, Amir Hossain, Shah Alam, Zainal Abedin, Achia Begum and Shanta Akhtar spoke at the human chain.
It is known that Alo Multipurpose Limited established a financial institution in 2008 with registration from the cooperative office in Sekerhat area of Jampur Union of the upazila. After taking the registration, directors and local residents Farukul Islam Shahin, Emran Hossain Mukul and Kamal Hossain started lending activities. In addition, about three hundred customers have deposited about taka 7 crore’s as deposits in this institution. After stopping their office activities for the last one month, the three of them fled. Customers go from door to door to different people to get their money.
When contacted, Farukul Islam Shaheen, director of Alo Multipurpose Limited, said that customers' deposits have been invested in various sectors. We are in this dire situation as cash is currently not in hand. Moreover, we have faced problems while refunding the customer's dividend money.
Acting Chairman of Jampur Union Parishad. Kamruzzaman Bhuiyan said that the issue of refund of customers will be seriously considered. Local dignitaries will assist customers to get their money back.
' Demand for 4 years bill waiver If N’ganj gas crisis not solved '
Residents of Dari Sonakanda area of Bandar Upazila of Narayanganj district staged a human chain for an hour demanding resolution of the gas crisis. On Wednesday (October 30) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, women, men and children of different ages participated with placards.
Under the chairmanship of Dari Sonakanda largest panchayat committee president Nurul Hossain and Dari Sonakanda Jame Masjid organizing secretary Mahbub Alam, former councilor of Ward No. 20 of Nashik, Golam Nabi Murad, former women councilor Shiuli Naushad, Baitus Salat Jame Masjid president Shafiullah, general secretary Mezbahuddin Swapan and others also spoke. .
Nurul Hossain said that there is a gas line in our area since 1972. But for the last 4 years we are not getting gas from ward no. 19 and 20. If you can't pay the gas then why should we pay the bill? We want gas bill waiver for last 4 years. Due to non-availability of gas, we have to spend extra money on wood stoves or cylinders. Women suffer the most.
Former woman councilor Shiuli Naushad said that for 4 years the residents of Ward No. 19 and 20 of Nashik have been suffering due to gas crisis. Women suffer the most.
