The Officer- In- Charge (OC) of Bhuapur police station Ahsan Ullah received the award of the best OC of Tangail district as a recognition for his special contribution in solving the mystery of multiple murder cases in a novel manner, arresting the accused involved in the incident, controlling drug-terrorism and preventing various criminal activities including evasion.

At the same time, Bhuapur police station OC also got the first place in the district in crime prevention.

On Thursday noon, OC Md. Ahsan Ullah said this. Before this, last Wednesday (January 24) at noon, he was given this honorary crest at the monthly law and order and welfare meeting organized in the conference room of the Tangail District Police Superintendent's office. The award ceremony was presided over by District Superintendent of Police (promoted to the post of Additional DIG) Sarkar Mohammad Qaiser.

According to police sources, there were several cases of murder and the recovery of dead bodies in the months of October, November and December last year. The Thana Police were able to unravel the mystery in a quick time after the complaints filed in these cases. In view of this, the district police superintendent's office gave this honor to police station OC Ahsan Ullah and several SIs and ASIs.

The Sub-Inspectors (SI) who received the crest of honor are – Farid Ahmed, Al Mamun, Taherul Islam, Jumman Khan. ASI- Abdullah Al Mahfuz and Manjurul Islam. Senior officers of Tangail district police and officers in-charge of all police stations, officers of other police units were present during the presentation of the crest.

In this regard, Bhuapur Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Md. Ahsan Ullah said - 'Bhuapur police station won the first position in the district for their special contribution in solving multiple murder cases, and 14 policemen of the police station were awarded in various categories, including recognizing me as the best OC.

We have achieved this with the cooperation of all the policemen of the police station, including the residents of Bhuapur.
