Officer-In-Charge (OC) of Bhuapur Police Station in Tangail has taken special initiatives to prevent various types of criminal activities including drug buying and selling, drug consumption, youth gangs, eve-teasing on the way to and from school-college students, sexual propositions, child marriages and terrorist activities.

OC Faridul Islam, on his personal initiative, went around to hang leaflets on his own mobile number along with the official mobile number of the police station, the mobile number of Bhuapur Fire Service and the mobile number of the sub-inspector (SI) in charge of various bits of policing working in the police station in order to quickly deliver police services to those institutions in the upazila. Taking turns giving advice and guidance.

Sudhi Mahal thinks that various types of criminal activities will decrease due to such exceptional initiatives. The people of Bhuapur are seeing this initiative for the first time in various institutions in the past. Already started this program in various banks, insurance and financial institutions. He will conduct mass awareness campaign about the initiative by visiting other institutions periodically. By doing this, ordinary customers will be able to transact with much more stringent security in various financial institutions including banks.

Regarding eviction and harassment, the schoolgirls said that bad boys used to harass them on the way to and from school. I came to know from my classmates that the special initiative of the in-charge of the police station will not be able to harass or say things like eve-teasing anymore.

For the past one and a half months, we have been able to safely go to school and home. Apart from this, we have noticed the special surveillance of the police in these restrictions. Bad boys can't hang out on the streets anymore. Thanks to OC Faridul sir for working in our security.

General Secretary of Bhuapur Bazar Merchants Association Arifur Rahman Arju said, a few days ago, OC Faridul Sir visited various banks and schools of Bhuapur Bazar and discussed public safety with the people. In various financial institutions including banks, he is advising to hang leaflets himself for the sake of customer safety. He is discussing drugs, the evils of early marriage and evictions among the students in the school.

Apart from this, the police have special vigilance to avoid traffic jams at various important places in the city. With these initiatives, he himself is going from door to door and delivering services to the people. I thank him for such a special initiative.
