Ban on travel to Rangamati withdrawn

Ban on travel to Rangamati has been withdrawn for tourists after 24 consecutive days.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan announced this decision in a press conference organized in the conference room of Rangamati District Commissioner's office on Wednesday noon.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan said, considering the overall situation, all kinds of restrictions on tourist travel to Rangamati have been lifted from November 1. Tourists will be provided with all kinds of security. Currently there is no problem in tourist travel to Rangamati. He urged the tourists to travel to Rangamati safely.

He also said, "Since the restrictions in Khagrachari will be lifted from November 1, tourists will be able to travel to Sajek from November 5."

The press conference was attended by: District Administration Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate. Various businessmen, entrepreneurs and journalists related to tourism including Shamim Hossain.
