Among all the departments under the Security Services Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Fire Service and Civil Defense has secured the first place in the assessment of implementation of Annual Performance Agreements ( APA) in the fiscal year 2022-23.

At the same time, Director General of Fire Service and Civil Defense, Brigadier General Md.Main Uddin received the 2023-2024 fiscal year Purity Award among all departments under the Security Service Division in recognition of the practice of purity.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan handed over the award certificate and crest to the Director General of Fire Service and Civil Defense in a ceremony organized at the conference room of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday (June 23).

On the other hand, on Monday in the conference room of the department, the annual performance agreement of the deputy directors of the departments was signed with the directorate of fire service and civil defense. At this time, the director general of the directorate along with the deputy director of the department and all the officers expressed sincere congratulations and greetings to the director general.

This information was informed in a press release from the media cell of fire service and civil defense.

Brigadier General Md. Main Uddin said, this achievement has made us more responsible in public service. Motivated by this achievement, he urged all the forces to work with honesty, dedication and professional attitude to build a smart Bangladesh of the future.

It should be noted that Director General Brigadier General Md. signed the annual work performance agreement for the fiscal year 2024-25 with the Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense and the field level. Main Uddin and Deputy Director and Principal signed on behalf of the Department and Training Complex.

At that time, the directors of fire service and civil defense and the deputy directors of various departments were present at various levels of the directorate.
